Outdoor markets are a great opportunity to socialize and shop. They allow you to discover local products and interact with local vendors.
- The weekly market in Marsala takes place every Tuesday, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, in Via Circonvallazione.
This market offers a wide range of products, including fresh food, clothing, vegetables, fruit, and local gastronomic specialties.
- The weekly Farmers' Market in Marsala is held every Sunday, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, in Via Colonnello Maltese.
This market features products directly from local farmers.
- The old Fish Market, open daily at Porta Garibaldi, is a very characteristic place to visit.
The market offers fresh fish and typical local products. Some fishmongers also serve ready-to-eat dishes or will cook the fish to order. Highly recommended for its freshness and quality.

PETROSINO CARNIVAL
Allegorical floats, music, and entertainment just minutes from Marsala.
The Petrosino Carnival remains one of the most anticipated events in western Sicily. Located just a few kilometers from Marsala, this celebration draws visitors from across the province of Trapani every year, thanks to its spectacular parades of allegorical floats, groups in costume, and a festive atmosphere that delights both adults and children.
For families, there are dedicated children’s areas, entertainment, activities, and plenty of leisure opportunities—making the Carnival an ideal destination for a day filled with fun.
During Carnival, the streets of Petrosino come alive with color, music, and traveling performances.
The stars of the event are the impressive allegorical floats created by local artisans—true works of art that parade through the streets, accompanied by dancers, performers, and folk groups.

SIGEL MARSALA MARATHON " CITTA' GARIBALDINA" AN ENVELOPING EMOTION 42,195 km LONG.
The races will start from the PIAZZA DELLA VITTORIA on a course that offers one of the most evocative views in the world, from the beauty of the historic center to the Stagnone lagoons with the islands of Mozia, Isola Lunga, Isola Schola, and Santa Maria, the enchanting salt pans with their windmills, and the Egadi Islands in the background, a breathtaking landscape of rare beauty for its colors and scents.
The SIGEL MARSALA MARATHON is included in the official FIDAL marathon calendar and is recognized by the IAAF.
The SIGEL MARSALA HALF MARATHON is included in the official FIDAL calendar of half marathons and is part of the "GRAND PRIX MARATONINE DI SICILIA".
Inside the MARATHON VILLAGE will be organized:
tasting of typical local products, pasta party, local craft exhibition, musical events, conferences and sporting events, games for adults and children, dog gathering.

The review will take place in the evocative Teathre at the Sea “Pellegrino 1880”, an eco-sustainable stage made of tuffs and salt, suspended over the water inside the Saline Genna, in the Stagnone Reserve.

La storica fiera meccanico-agricola della borgata di Strasatti, a Marsala
Nella borgata di Strasatti, a sud di Marsala, torna ogni estate 'A Fera di Strasatti, la storica Rassegna Meccanico-Agricola nata nel 1950 come fiera di compravendita di bestiame e prodotti della terra.
Oggi è uno degli appuntamenti più amati dell'estate marsalese: cinque giorni tra esposizioni di macchine agricole e trattori, percorsi artigianali, spettacoli serali, musica dal vivo e degustazioni di specialità del territorio.
Un evento popolare che unisce tradizione contadina, comunità e intrattenimento.
